About the Author
A. Even as a child I lived in an imaginary world. I always had a story going on in my mind. I don't really know why, perhaps I found life boring or just wanted to control the environment I lived in. As a result, I never did too well in real life matters. Things were stressful and I could not seem to relate to them. I found a place in spirituality because it was accepted, but was not reality per say. It was my realm, I felt secure there. I never went to college. I am self taught on the computer and have a knack for storing information that I call upon that fools people into thinking I am well educated. I just write out of my imagination. I started writing in the late 1980s. My first attempt was a romance novel, coming out soon after revamping it, and then a detective mystery novel. This one I lost someplace. But, I had been bitten by the author bug. After a spiritual awakening and many years of study I wrote two Inspirational fiction novels. Q. What influenced you to write this book? A. I suppose it was because I enjoyed my imaginary stories and I though others would, too. I am more at home in them and so it only seemed natural for me to write them. Q. What other authors do you admire or influenced you in writing your book? A. I hid away in school, which was not a pleasant experience to me, in "Nancy Drew" books and read the Hardy Boys mysteries. I found the Bible extremely interesting because of the stories and I learned to love the Man of Galilee. I had a personal out of this world relationship with him and this brought many revelations of spiritual things. I have always been a romantic in my heart, so now in my older age, I have set about putting romance into my books. Q: Would you recommend Cedar Hill Publishing to other writers? A: No other place for me. Becky has helped to bring my stories from my imagination into the realm of reality. I love her with all my heart! |
